Major Uriel Bibi, son of Yael Julia and Zion Bibi, the decorated soldier from Kfar Saba awarded with excellence by the IDF's Commander in Chief, killed as a hero on the Black Sabbath of October 7.
Major Uriel Bibi, grew up and was educated in Kfar Saba, graduated from Noam seminary and Atzmona seminary.
Uriel was 30 years old at the time of his death, married and the father of two, an officer at the IDF Paratroopers' Brigade, awarded with excellence by the IDF's Commander in Chief and MDA volunteer for 15 years.
On the morning of October 7, 2023, when he heard the first news about the massacre, he left his home in Shulamit settlement in Hevel Shalom and set out on his life's mission to protect the homeland and save as many lives as possible.
Uriel, with his prominent high moral values from childhood, volunteered at MDA since he was 14 years old.
Before his enlistment in the IDF, he finished a medic course and ever since then he has volunteered for duty at every opportunity. Saving lives was his guiding principle.
His family is determined to place an A Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), in his memory bearing his name at the MDA station in Kfar Saba, with the staff he loved so much , where it will continue his legacy in saving lives for the benefit of the residents of Kfar Saba.
