MDA's Wish Ambulance

The Wish Ambulance is a MDA project, aimed to fulfill wishes and requests of critically ill patients who lost their mobility and require constant care.

The fully equipped Wish Ambulance, together with MDA's dedicated volunteers, make it possible for these patients to actually fulfill their last wishes and make dreams into realities for the people and their loved ones.

This initiative thus far have realized thousands of dreams: from a mother who was able to make it to her daughter's wedding to a 90 years old holocaust survivor who wished to celebrate his long overdue Bar Mitzvah at the Western Wall.

Support this moving project and help us fulfill more wishes.

Thousands of patients and their families wish to overcome their disability or immobility just once- for their daughter's wedding or for their son's army graduation's ceremony.

MDA initiated The Wish Ambulance to make these wishes come true. Needless to say that for those families, realizing these wishes is the greatest thing they could hope for; and even more so to the person being able to do something unique and special.

This service is provided to the patients and families at no cost!

For this purpose, MDA has dedicated a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), which is fully equipped to monitor and treat patients' conditions with:

* A special bed

* Defibrillator

* a highly navigable wheel chair

* A camera on the roof, enabling the patient to see the road

* A medicine refrigerator

All teams volunteer for these wishes, sometimes for long hours, attending to the person's medical needs

However, there are costs to this project in the form of special adjustments made to necessary equipment, perishable items, insurance and more.

Help us fulfill 40 wishes this year!

One wish costs 6,500 NIS
