6 dead, 6 seriously injured, 4 moderately injured, and 2 lightly injured in a shooting and stabbing attack at several sites on Jerusalem Boulevard in Tel Aviv; the terrorists were neutralized
On october 1st, at 19:01, a report was received at MDA's 101 dispatch center in the Dan region of casualties from a shooting attack on Jerusalem Boulevard in Jaffa and the light rail. Large numbers of Magen David Adom teams, including ambulances, mobile intensive care units, and MDA EMTs on medicycles, were immediately dispatched to the scene to provide medical assistance and evacuate the injured to hospitals, while alarms began sounding for rocket fire across the country.
MDA paramedics fought to save the lives of 6 individuals, but after resuscitation efforts, they had to pronounce them dead.
MDA EMTs and Paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated 12 injured victims to Ichilov, Wolfson, and Sheba-Tel Hashomer hospitals, including: 6 seriously injured, 4 moderately injured, and 2 lightly injured.
During the attack, Magen David Adom’s blood services provided approximately 150 units of blood and blood components to the hospitals.
