Gan Yavne has lost some of its best sons and daughters on October 7th and during the Iron Swords War.
The families of the murdered and fallen, in collaboration with friends and residents of Gan Yavne, wish to commemorate them by ways of saving lives-installing automated defibrillator stations throughout the city to benefit the public.
The Defibrillator station is comprised of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and a smart cabinet. The station is remotely controlled and opened by MDA’s 101 dispatch center, and its location is identified by MDA’s control and monitoring system.

This project is in memory of:
Oz Ardi – Served in the Engineering Corps. On December 14, 2023, Oz was killed in Gaza by a landmine explosion.
Omer Gavra – Fell in combat on October 7, 2023, at the Sha'ar HaNegev junction while on his way to Kibbutz Zikim.
Margarita Gosk – Was murdered at the Nova Festival on October 7, 2023.
Bar Zohar – Was murdered at the Nova Festival on October 7, 2023.
Gilad Kfir – Was murdered in Nativ HaAsara on October 7, 2023. He was forty-eight years old.
Yair Yaakov – Was kidnapped from his kibbutz Nir Oz, and murdered on October 7, 2023. His body was returned to buriel in Israel by the IDF on June 11, 2025.
Lidor Levy – Grew up and was educated in Gan Yavne. He was murdered in a terror attack there on March 31, 2024. Lidor left behind a pregnant wife and a six-month-old baby daughter.
Ofer Madilinsky – Passed away during his reserve duty.
The Kutz Family – The parents, Livat and Aviv, along with their three children—Rotem, Yonatan, and Yiftach—were murdered in their home in Kfar Azza on October 7, 2023.Livnat's parents are residents of Gan Yavne.
