"There are people who wait for the world to move, and there are those who move the world."
Kim Dokerker was born on 28/06/2001 and raised in the city of Yavne. She graduated with honors from the Ginsburg Educational Campus in Yavne.
On 19/03/2020, she enlisted as a fighter at the Border Patrol Unit of the IDF ( Magav). She served as a fighter at the 37 Company in Hebron and the 23 Company in Jenin. In addition, she completed a sergeant course, became a platoon commander and more.
In December 2021, during a terrorist attack in Homesh, Kim neutralized a terrorist and prevented a major attack which could have harmed many civilians and soldiers.
On 10/04/2022, she left for an officer's course, which she completed successfully.
On 23/07/2023, she transferred to serve at the Central " Magav" as a patrol team leader. Kim was the first woman to hold this position. She was a symbol and a role model for all her subordinates, wherever she commanded, setting an example for all she commanded. She always ensured that everyone around her felt safe and took care of the others before taking care of herself.
Kim was murdered at the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023. She left behind her loving parents, Miri and Israel, and brothers, Oren and Roy.
Even in the face of danger, she chose to stay. With great courage and loyalty to her friends, she did not leave even when she had the opportunity to run away.
