Within the Magen David Adom (MDA) Station in Ramat Gan, at 46 HaGalgal Street, lies a truly special place.
Located inside the station's protected shelter is the Magen David Synagogue – a place of prayer, faith, and spiritual renewal for the dedicated paramedics, EMTs, ambulance drivers, volunteers, dispatchers, and emergency response teams who work around the clock to save lives.
Between emergency calls, difficult rescues, and exhausting shifts, members of the emergency teams step into the synagogue to pray the morning, afternoon, and evening services. It offers them a quiet place to pause, reflect, regain strength, and reconnect before returning to the field and continuing their sacred mission of saving lives.
The synagogue is also home to daily Torah study, including Daf Yomi, Mishnah, Halacha, and lessons on the weekly Torah portion. It is a living center of Torah, prayer, and Jewish tradition within one of Israel's busiest emergency stations.
Over the years, the synagogue has become much more than a place of worship. It serves as a spiritual home not only for MDA's staff and volunteers, but also for members of the local community who have found here a place of faith, comfort, and connection.
