Magen David Adom’s Reserve Unit is a unique reinforcement force made up of experienced and young EMTs, paramedics, and ambulance drivers who are called into action during emergencies, high demand or security escalations.
The unit reinforces the emergency medical teams, delivers critical care at disaster and crisis scenes and saves lives even under fire. Its teams are mobilized for special missions, primarily in the south and north regions of Israel, during times of national emergency.
Members of the unit integrate with MDA’s regular teams to operate in zones of conflict and deliver life-saving medical care on the front lines.
