The MDA team of the Ofra community has an excellent group of local volunteers:
Paramedics, ambulance drivers, medics and youth volunteers who try to respond immediately to every urgent call which in many cases save lives, but...
In a month and a half, we will remain without an ambulance unless we can replace our current one.
During the last few years, Ofra's MDA volunteers have responded to hundreds of events with the help of the ambulance - attacks on Route 60, traffic accidents, maternity evacuations and medical events in Ofra and the surrounding communities.
The Ofra community is approximately a 25-minute drive from Jerusalem. Waiting for an emergency medical team to arrive from areas outside the community could cost human lives.
During these challenging days when the State of Israel is under attack fighting to defend itself, with threats to the communities in the south and north of Israel, as well as in our area, the Binyamin area, the need of for an ambulance inside Ofra is even more crucial than ever.
We, the MDA volunteers in Ofra, are ready for any scenario and event, at any time, but without an ambulance, we will not be able to properly help.
We're asking for your support in order for us to continue offering help in time of need.
Become our partners in saving lives,
and with G-D's help we shall succeed.
