Thanks to you, we succeeded – the first defibrillator in memory of the late Noa Marciano will soon be installed and will be able to save lives.
Noa, who was a military observer, continues to protect – even after her passing.

Noa Marciano, z"l, the daughter of Adi and Avi, was born on October 12, 2004, in Modi’in. She was Yuval, Hadar, and Itay's older sister.
Noa grew up in Modi’in. She loved reading, singing, and dancing from a young age. Noa was a wise, talented and charismatic girl, with great values and empathy, an outstanding student, and human activist — always the heart of her group.
Noa eagerly anticipated her military enlistment. On April 16, 2023, she joined the IDF, serving as a military observer at the Nahal Oz base. She amazed everyone with her motivation and professionalism. She was scheduled to attend a command course in November 2023 and begin an officer’s course in January 2024.
On October 7, 2023, Noa was in a shelter with the other soldiers. The terrorists threw grenades inside the shelter and shot at the soldiers. Seven soldiers who survived the shooting and were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip, including Noa.
Approximately forty days after Noa was kidnapped, the IDF forces located her body outside the "Shifa" hospital in Gaza and brought it back to Israel.Noa is the only one of the female observers kidnapped to Gaza who did not return alive.
Noa’s life was intertwined with love for her country and people, and a deep connection to her roots. She walked the paths of the Land of Israel, breathing the scents, touching the stones since she was a toddler and later became a Shelah guide. Noa saw her volunteer work as a mission for the community and for that she received a certificate of excellence.
Unfortunately, Noa’s story was cut short on November 9, 2023, when she was only 19 years old.
Her death left a void but also a legacy of dedication and love. Noa is remembered for her love for people ,her inspiring optimism and seeing the glass half full — for which she often said, "Smile as if there’s no tomorrow."
