At just 14, Amit Man loses her beloved father to a terminal illness. Witnessing his final days cared for by medics she calls "angels in white," she finds her calling. Determined to save others, she volunteers with Magen David Adom and, despite battling a painful genetic illness, becomes a gifted paramedic known for her skill, empathy, and professionalism.
Alongside her passion for medicine, Amit is a powerful singer, often bringing comfort through her voice during ambulance shifts. She joins the medical team at Kibbutz Be'eri, where she finds deep purpose, strong community ties, and love with Ofir, a fellow paramedic. Mentored by a veteran ambulance driver who becomes a father figure, Amit flourishes-driven by a profound commitment to service.
Then comes October 7, 2023.
When terrorists infiltrate the kibbutz, Amit defies orders to stay safe and rushes to aid the wounded. Trapped with others in a small dental clinic under siege for more than seven hours, she fights to save lives with dwindling supplies and no reinforcements in sight. Even after being shot, she continues to treat others, calm frightened children over the phone, and calls for help that never arrives.
Amit was only 22 when she gave her life to save others. Her final acts-selfless, brave, and resolute-cement her legacy
Amit Man's story is one of extraordinary courage, love, and sacrifice-a powerful testament to a young woman who became an 11angel in white" for her people, and whose light continues to inspire even in the darkest of times
Erez Tadmor, Director:
I see Amit as a unique cinematic figure — a young woman who transformed the profound loss in her life into a motivating force to save others. This is a story about choice — the choice to turn personal grief into something greater, a mission that benefits the entire world.
Regarding the events of October 7th, I will focus on the human experience of those trapped inside the right clinic — balancing tension and risk with emotional clarity. This is a film about memory and legacy — about how one person can touch many lives, even in death. This film will be a tribute to Amit’s memory and to all those who choose to put others before themselves, especially in life’s hardest moments.
