HELP EQUIP MDA FOR SAVING LIVES UNDER FIRE!

Since Saturday, October 7^th, Israel is at war. MDA emergency teams are on high alert and scattered across the country, operating 1,400 MDA ambulances (some of which are bulletproof) and saving lives under fire.

Please see below a request for urgent assistance in accordance to MDA needs at these difficult times of war.
Currently MDA is reinforcing the rescue teams in the various combat arenas with emergency equipment.

They are in urgent need of:

• 7000 emergency kits that include a ceramic vest, a helmet, a trauma diode, tourniquets and CPR - cost $480 per kit
• 5000 radios for field teams costing $400 per unit
• 20 kits for testing infections in blood donations at a cost of $65,000 for a kit that includes 15,000 tests
• 50 monitors for MDA's Mobile intensive care units at a cost of $25,000 per unit
• 1000 advanced tourniquets cost $200 per unit

Total cost for emergency equipment needed: $8,110,000

-As the war is being waged on several arenas, MDA teams are called to multiple events simultaneously. In order to reach all patients every time, MDA needs -

• 100 Bulletproof Mercedes ambulances and Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs), costing $315,000 per vehicle
• 300 Mercedes Ambulances (costing $130,000 per ambulance) and MICUs (costing $160,000 per MICU).

Total Cost for emergency vehicles: $74,500,000
