These days, as the fighting escalates, MDA teams are on high alert, responding under fire to targeted locations even before the rockets land, using advanced technology.

Operating MDA teams in full emergency mode requires, in addition to routine activities, additional efforts for various tasks such as: testing thousands of blood units and transporting them to the field, acquiring disposable equipment for life-saving operations (bandages, tourniquets, syringes, gloves, etc.), stocking up on fuel and operating rescue vehicles, supplying protective gear for volunteers, and equipping the additional circle of volunteers — the community medical teams.
The cost of a single day of fighting for MDA is about 3.2 million shekels, which is not allocated or covered by the State of Israel. Yet, MDA teams remain determined to be there 24/7 to save all of our lives.
