Donate to the Magen David Adom medical teams in the Har Homa neighborhood
The Har Homa Magen David Adom (MDA) volunteer team consists of about 50 medics, paramedics, ambulance drivers, and first aid responders. We work tirelessly 24/7 to provide life-saving medical assistance to the residents of the neighborhood. Har Homa forms the southeastern border of Jerusalem, and it is an isolated neighborhood surrounded by the villages of Zur Bahar, Umm Tuba and Bethlehem, and is the only access axis from Gush Etzion east to Jerusalem.
Since October 7, the State of Israel has been in a state of war. MDA forces across the country are on high alert and are preparing for scenarios where communities may be cut off from all communication and aid and therefore must be reliant on local teams that are trained to provide extensive and professional care in these situations until external assistance arrives. Like them, the MDA team in our neighborhood is rigorously preparing to provide optimal
medical assistance.
MDA does not receive a dedicated budget for its activities from the State of Israel, so we must take responsibility for our lives and the lives of our loved ones in our own hands.
Our volunteers are all determined to be available to the residents of Har Choma in any scenario. Therefore, we need advanced, life-saving professional equipment that will be used by us during medical emergencies and crises and will significantly improve our response capabilities in any situation.
We are launching a crowdfunding campaign that will enable the purchase of essential life-saving equipment: protective equipment for team members, professional first respoders’ equipment bags, defibrillator devices, smart CPR stations, advanced monitoring devices, and more.
Your contribution is essential for our continued activity.
This equipment and instruments will help the MDA team to quickly and efficiently provide life-saving medical treatment upon arrival at the hospital. We urge you to take part in this important project. Every donation brings us closer to this important goal.
Help us = Helping you
