MDA aspires to supply every First Responder with a CPR kit which includes a Defibrilliator. The Defibrillator (AED) is a life-saving device which provides an electrical shock via the chest wall directly to the heart. Use of this device as soon as possible has been proven to be life-saving, while increasing chances of survival from 3-60%.The AED provides voice instructions so that anyone can use it, it also communicates with the MDA Emergency Dispatch Center and transfers real-time patient information.
