The MDA Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is a medically equipped ambulance staffed by experienced, well-trained physicians dispatched for high level emergency care. The immediate care given by the MICU allows complex medical treatment to be administered even prior to arrival to the nearest medical center. And thus, we greatly increase survival rates and reduce likelihood of further trauma.
Today, MDA operates only 387 MICUs across Israel. Adding more MICUs is essential for our life-saving efforts!
