MDA life-saving kit is used by first-responders and consists of basic life support equipment.
The national volunteer first responder unit is based on an active, highly trained team of volunteers and employees (which respond to calls on a voluntary basis) who act as an auxiliary force to the ambulance fleet. They also provide an additional facet of emergency treatment until the ambulance arrives.
